....we ALL do this. Most of us only go to conventions once a year. Maybe we want to wear our costumes to hang out with friends for an outing and take photoshoots some where? As long as you're not bugging anybody, who cares?

She's apparently a staff member of the group and nothing in that screencap sounds unreasonable. It's a cosplay group, cosplaying is implied. At least it's fair enough to give two strikes and it says there will be 'cosplay only' events. Not that all non-cosplay events are banned.

If you're not even in the group, why the fuck are you giving a shit? Get the fuck out of their group business if the issue doesn't involve anyone outside the group.

And seriously? Not all of us here live somewhere with a bunch of conventions around them. If I want to go to a second convention, I have to shell out around $300 just in travel to get to one. $300 on top of another $100 in hotel and pass.

I disagree. maybe not the costs of travel as stated by our friend here... not especially cheap unless booked months in advance, which isn't always an option. And that's with me living in a major city.
