It was Quetiapine (Seroquel) if I'm remembering correctly. I'm assuming she's taking it for bipolar disorder rather than schizophrenia, but being on it myself at a very low dose to help me sleep, I'm not surprised that she might be *that* out of it that her awareness was shot to hell and back. The fandom makes me sad too. I do admit painfully, that it did open me up more to WWII History in Europe because public schools here never taught us anything about it. Only from Pearl Harbor onward but now I get to have free lectures from my uncle who's a Professor of WWII History at George Washington University.

I think that's what I liked the best about the fandom... The realization that there is a world out there, and there's history for it all. I kind of...got really into Nordic history. (Even if it's hard. as. crap. to find information on. GUH.) I'm stupidly excited to be getting into the university I'm trying to transfer too- so much Nordic history available to me... The fact that the fandom doesn't take advantage of the widened horizon given to them is downright sad. I miss the old days when it was stunning how much the fandom truly new. Not anymore...

Right? Some of the art that has historical references are like akin to Where's Waldo when I was a kid. I love finding the little threads of history weaved in to some of the gorgeous art [like there was one with England and a white and red rose to symbolize the War of Roses]. Hrng, I do want to take more Norse History too. I used to be obsessed with mythology but that was so long ago [hur hur back in Ragnarok Online days].

Recently in Fandom it's just been Micronations everywhere that I've come to realize...Micronations are usually started by crazy people.
