Ah, that makes a bit more sense. For some reason, I didn't fully make the connection that she was talking about "shi" as the Japanese part of speech that connects listed objects. I guess I might have done so because it was romanized? I think that's another problem I have with understanding what she's trying to say; the switches between Japanese and English are so abrupt and awkward to me that I have trouble switching between the two.

Anyway, I think you're right to say that "ya" would be more appropriate. I've only heard "ya" used as a connector when people are being listed. I'm no expert, though.

It seems to me like she's listing these things as things she wants and "hurts" because she doesn't have them. It's possible that she didn't realize that "愛人" has the context of "mistress" attached to it since a lot of dictionaries I've seen merely list it as just "lover" or "sweet heart".
