I also like the positive attention I get from little girls who think I'm a princess and older ladies who think I'm adorable. I also make my lolita clothes, so I feel pretty awesome when someone says they like my outfit and when I tell them I made it myself they think I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I dress in lolita (but nothing ott) because it's fun and cute, and I'm a bit infantile. I used to pretend that I'm all grown up and levelheaded, but it felt fake and I was unhappy. Now looking ridiculous brightens not only my day, but also people I met. I get compliments and I like the attention.
