really guilty of this. For the past couple of years, at every con I go
to--whether it be a repeat or not--I still bring out my main cosplay
that I'm known for here, which is Don't Say Lazy Mio Akiyama.
Personally, I never get tired of it, and since people (friends mostly)
recgonize me most in that outfit, we usually get to spend time at cons
when we see each other around. Plus, I spent a crap ton of money on my
Fender bass that's like Mio's, so I better have a use for that, which is
why I still do it. Honestly, I know some people grow tired of seeing
the same person in the same thing repeatedly, but if they're having fun,
there should really be no reason to waste your time being bothered by
it. Hell, look at Texas Jet. He's known for his Jet Black
cosplay, and because of that--and the sheer level of badass that he is
since he does it so well--he brings it out at every con. It's what I
like to call his "signature" cosplay; that is what DSL Mio is to me. Some
cosplayers also can't afford to be cosplaying more than one character
over a period of time. Not everyone is the same financial nor skill
level.
