I used to think she was pretty lulzy for a cosplayer simply for that fact that her cosplays used to be semi-clothed gijinkas and nothing more.

After her Anya cosplay from the Gears Of War 3 Alpha footage was completed, I began taking her a bit more seriously since it actually matched the footage perfectly. It's a shame she didn't wait until the final product for GOW3 came out and matched that, but I'll give her props for making a good cosplay all the same.

I don't think people are hating on the way she dresses, more that she's calling what she does (or at least what she was doing) cosplay. That seems to be where 95% of the hate is. If she decided to do something a little bit more complex and totally rocked it, people would love her. But now that she's started to get a little bit more serious into the hobby, she's making the mistakes that a lot of younger cosplayers make (making outfits based off beta or unfinished artwork so it doesn't look right when it's finished).

It wouldn't take much. Her ironette looks good, her Anya looks...okay, it's wrong now but she looks okay in it. And she's always been cute in her early stuff, it's just that stuff isn't really cosplay so much as it is...hot topic gear.
