I had a dream I went to a far away con, only to discover that I had left all my wigs at home. I wandered the mall attached to the con in a wig cap and cosplay desperately searching for a wig to buy. It was a fucking nightmare.

On that note, I tend to have panic-dreams right before a convention, even if I have everything in place.

I had a dream about PT in the spring. I was a Japanese bed and breakfast(what, right?) and found out she was staying there too.
She was really gross, but she was really nice.
And she had a shitload of fans.

And then once I had a dream about a con in an image board format...

THAT was fucking weird.

I had another dream once that /cgl/ was having a party and I was invited. I don't remember much except God gave me fruit punch, and apparently it was delicious.

UGH. I have repetitive nightmares about trying to get all my stuff in my room and in the dream the moving process takes the whole convention and by the time I am in my cosplay the convention is over.

all the freaking time. Its usually me setting up my artist alley table only to see I have no merchandise, and just searching frantically for my stuff until I wake up.

basically everyone was invited to a /cgl/ party at matt's house. i went with my boyfriend and my friend. piplup and todd were making out. piplup still looked like piplup, but with a blonde wig. i met a bunch of cool people and the FIRST EVAR GIJINKA COSPLAYER (which was some random black lady cosplaying as eve from wall-e) was the super speshul party guest. matt was having interviews on who he'd consider to be efamous and everybody was flipping their shit. my friend auditioned and was telling him about how her family needed this money and how she was mexican and using a bunch of big words to impress him. he got insulted and yelled at her for some reason and then i told him to calm down. he said, "YOU WANT TO SEE HOW HARDCORE I AM?!?!" and showed me a picture of the tip of his nose pierced like a billion times. i said, "ew", and i got a punch in the face.

it was terrifying. i'm leaving out some parts because i don't remember all of the details, but i am actually kind of afraid of matt now. his rage face was terrifying in my mind.

I had a dream about ALA once.
There was a vodka fountain that Jen was swimming in, we lost Harris somewhere in the hotel to the alcohol gremlins disguised as weeaboos, Ash got pushed in the pool and came back out with rum in bottles made of diamond, I had all da bitches, and everything was covered in glitter.
I woke up disappointed that I was not crashed in someone's room, and with 'Shots' stuck in my head.
I have a good feeling about the upcoming ALA.

I dream constantly about conventions (which is strange given that I don't attend all that many.) Hotel hallways, hotel elevators, freaks in costumes running back and forth. It's probably one of my most common dream-themes after those "flying around suburban neighborhoods" ones I have.

This was around the time there was that small drama about that cosplayer from the Yu-Gi-Oh cosplayer (Melinda?) and the night after I bumped into her at the con I was at. In the dream, I was talking to motoko for some reason, and then motoko turned into a giant eagle lion thing and ate that other cosplayer, and then I was in a VW Bus and I decided I should probably wake up soon.

I have dreams about imaginary conventions almost every other month. I finally had some that didn't involve the dealer's and/or artist alley turned into the showers section of a Home store.

The timing of this thread actually is perfect for me since I had a dream this morning about cosplays.

A long time ago when I first discovered /cgl/, I had a strange dream that I woke up with greasy hair, hadn't bathed in a while, had no clean clothes, but had to go to walmart, so I threw on this like, dingy white satin milanoo lolita monstrosity with some beat up tennis shoes and no socks.

Well we didn't end up going to walmart, we went to the mall, and the entire population was full of legit awesomely well dressed lolitas of every type and style everywhere, all staring at me.

When I'm really tired or nervous I dream of being already at the con but in my sleepwear and with messy hair.
And then someone posts on /cgl/ something like "have you seen that girl in pjs and no wig? she was ridiculous"

I had a dream where I killed Wesker. I jammed a corkscrew into his throat. For some reason I was hesitant to do it.

Me and an angry mob preceded to throw his lifeless body into a cistern.

I had a dream I met the west coast tripfags, but it was in passing before Dark Souls made an entry in my dream.

I dreamed that I was in the dealer's hall at AX and I bought tons of awesome merchandise. Then I woke up, and in my half-asleep state started looking around my room for my sweet new crap, and realized that I didn't really own any of it. That sucked.

Oh man I have dreams like this all the time, I hate that feeling.

I've had dreams about conventions more times than I can remember.
Conventions are the only recurring element in my dreams, aside from that wave of cats a few months ago.
I have no idea why, I've only been to two conventions and neither was a life-changing experience or something.

I actually had a dream last night about a con. It was a weird, little con that was being held in a grocery store for some reason. Half of it was con, the other half was produce. Strange as fuck. I ended up spending most of my time buying food.

I usually dream about cosplay and cons a lot leading up to a con, especially if I'm excited about it or have been up every night working on a cosplay.

I had a dream last night that I was actually dead, but still reading /cgl/. Two anons even mentioned that I was dead. I couldn't post. I was like... what, I don't want to be dead? ... and then I wasn't.

I had a dream once that I was in my old town. I was in the community center for some sort of banquet, and I had a large plate of lasagna that I was very excited about eating. While looking around for a seat, I spotted Texas Jet sitting at a table and decided to sit with him. After talking to him for upwards of ten minutes, my mind decided to go ahead and break the fourth wall, and I began to question why in heck I was eating lasagna with Jet. The seemingly logical answer my mind provided? " You always see Jet at cons. This must be an anime convention." No sooner had I thought this than I looked down and realized I was in my Ed costume. I began to look around and realized that everyone else was dressed up as well. Then I looked to my left and Ted Nugent, as he looked about circa 1978, was stealing my lasagna off my plate. I asked him what in God's name he was doing and he shrugged and told me Jet told him to. Then I woke up.

It was. The. Best. Dream. Evar.

Lately I have had a lot of con dreams. What it repeats the most is that my cosplay is unfinished (red jacket, but without hoodie or black sleeves, etc.) but yesterday, I had it complete!

Maybe it's because I'm way too excited for the next con, but I don't show it, so my subconscious is releasing that excitement xP

I had a dream I went to a con as Sebastian from Kuroshit.
keep in mind I have never watched that show before in my life.

I had no wig, greasy ass hair, and my perfect teeth were really crooked and yellow. I also had my ugly glasses on from like junior high. It was during the evening at the con and I was really upset because no one recognized me the entire day and I couldn't figure out why. I then proceeded to have a hissy fit when someone came and made fun of me.

I woke up feeling really disgusted and freaked out.

I had a dream about some of us seagulls on Seagull Island back when those island and literature threads were up about some of us, and it was so weird. Then it switched to the whole Masao's /cgl/ mansion thing.

I've had so many con-related dreams. A lot of them are just of the 'oh God I forgot/didn't finish my costume' variety, but I've dreamed up some badass venues (one was a really nice outdoor con in a European-looking plaza) and in one of them a friend of mine bought a whole table of Chinese food for any con-goers who passed by.

OH YEAH and like two years ago I had a dream that Maguma was the star of a Rock of Love-esque dating show called /cgL/ove. Yep.
