It was a shitty Red XIII gijinka to my boyfriend's shitty Vincent Valentine. I don't even have any pics of it.

My next try was immensely better. I did everything myself (this was before you could buy Kingdom Hearts stuff all over ebay, and it was only like 6 years ago) and I think for a first REAL try I did really good. Obviously still like 1000 things wrong with it but I still give myself props.

My very first cosplay was Yuki Cross from Vampire Knight. I bought the costume so no problems making it. But after my experience buying it, I decided I was just going to make all my own stuff after that.

Oh yeah. That's my own hair and no makeup combo.

I guess this might count, there was a halloween concert at my high school in May (Don't ask, I don't know either). I had to throw something together fast, since Mr. Frio only told us last minute that we needed costumes. I threw together a fast Doctor McNinja. This is the only photo I could find.

Heeeey, I recognize you! I bought that from you. It worked quite well once I added all of the missing elements on it. It now has a hidden zipper, rose buttons and the accents.

I'll be putting it back up on the Marketplace eventually because some friends and I are going to get matching ones made together.

I'm sure you'll find something. I can't really speak for quality or not, but I know there's an ebay version. I think I told you but the one I got was off Limebarb but I really wouldn't recommend them.

Kensuke Aida from Neon Genesis Eva. Basic closet cosplay, a few people recognized the character. I even carried a camcorder that my dad bought me for my birthday in 2008 that was strapped to my hand.

I still own that camcorder to this day and the costume. I will be upgrading to a HD camera soon when I have the chance.

met a goth chick at Anime Expo who said she took commissions so had her make it for me, and Chun-li for my friend

laawwwd we looked like crap. Commissioned her again for Trigun cosplays and when they fell apart at the convention we decided we were done with her.

Spent another couple years commissioning other people before we finally started doing things ourselves.

A Creeper from Minecraft, I made it out of a bunch of cardboard boxes and lots and lots of tape. I couldn't go very far without heaps of people asking for photos or hissing like a creeper and it was slowly falling apart during the day. But it was really fun and it managed to hold up to the end.

Was Rurouni Kenshin, got a white pair of hakama and a shinai for Christmas that year, used those and a "super
high class" red kimono robe I got at the fair lol. I already had natural red har passed my ass so didn't use a wig or anything.
Funny thing was, as the robe was a shiney satin with a gold dragon down the back everyone complimented my "beautiful art book Kenshin"
