I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually got good advice from 4chan. If I hadn't talked to that nice, slightly tipsy girl standing next to me (who was probably more interested in talking to the man she was with) I wouldn't have found out moot was standing outside in the rain and I wouldn't have taken that mostly unrecognizable picture of him. I also found out that 4chan has a uniform. Everyone around moot was dressed in black. It wasn't until I was driving home that I realized I was wearing my old black jeans and black rain jacket. If I find out in advance there's another meet I'll get a Shy Guy tee-shirt so I'll be recognizable.

I wish I had any other stories. Most of the time I spent standing around, trying to figure out who was a regular customer and who was a 4chan-er (it didn't work). There was a girl with pink hair who I hoped was on /cgl/ but she was too preoccupied to talk to. After taking pictures of moot some of the scraggly Old Town residents with missing teeth asked what was going on. I guessed they would know what a computer was and had heard of the Internet so I told them the guy who was getting mobbed ran a big website on the Internet. They had guessed he was a rock star, no joke. The nice, foreign guy who was running the parking lot seemed pretty amused by the whole event.
