I
guess it depends on what you go for, I personally wouldn't be playing
those kinds of games, I like to compete in the tournaments, go to the
funnier panels, walk around with friends and going through the dealer
rooms every day trying to decide what we should buy, talk to and take
pictures of cosplayers, also like to play random people in the video
game rooms, pretty baller when you have 4 or 5 people lined up to play
you since winner plays until they lose, also showing off to people on
Rock Band is always fun.
However, I dunno why you tried to go to
every event, go to the ones that sound interesting, if it's not
funny/whatever you want it to be within the first 5 or so minutes leave
and do something else. I probably only went to 5 panels MAYBE over the
whole weekend, but all of them were pretty fucking funny, even if the
giant speakers were raping my ears because they had them turned up so
loud.
I generally don't buy a whole lot though (though last year I
did, it was mostly parts for my arcade stick as they had some parts
sold out on most websites that I needed). Shit's generally really
overpriced there, but the shops this year really seemed like they didn't
have as much shit as they usually do, and some of them seemed to charge
more. (I specifically remember a shirt being like 30 bucks last year,
and it was 40 this year.) |
