Well you go to conventions don't you? Is that something you think you'll ever stop doing

I believe that it all depends on the person, the person they marry, and the life they want to live. For instance, I've been going to conventions & cosplaying since I was 15 and am now 28. I married a man who enjoys anime & conventions but isn't interested in cosplay. He doesn't look down on me cosplaying but I must say his lack of enthusiasm, my transition into married life, & the having my career get more serious has lessened my ability to do so. Nevertheless, we still watch anime & plan on attending D*C again next year where we feel it's such a better environment for "aging geeks."

I think once I start having kids thought it will probably stop the cosplaying as I find spending time with just my husband & dog at times difficult due to being so busy! I'm still an anime fan at heart though and will always want to watch series old and new & attend a convention if possible!

I don't see any reason to give up my hobbies. I may have less time for them, but I doubt I'll give them up all together. If I have kids, I'm more likely to go to stop going to anime cons and just go to sci-fi and fantasy cons though, as very few anime cons are kid friendly.

I don't know what way my career life will go, I'm in college and have been to some auditions, but I do dig the idea of being in the modeling industry while being a standard nerd, though I doubt it's uncommon.

I probably won't voluntarily give up my hobbies if I didn't want to or didn't particularly have to for any good reason.

my boyfriend totally doesn't mind, and he plays video games a ton so he understands my lolita hobby. And since we'll likely be married eventually, there's no problem.

once I have kids though, I'll have to not wear lolita for a bit just so it doesn't get destroyed.

That's okay too though because I always have mori girl. I plan on wearing/being a mori girl until I die. it's one of those fashions that looks good no matter what age you are, and looks adorable on a tiny old lady, which, looking at my mother and my own body, I probably will be.

AND I plan on working in history/a museum/antique dealing or whatnot so how I dress doesn't always matter too much.
