im good looking enough to cosplay any attractive male character so why not besides its awesome making regular nerds look bad

I do it because its fun!

I wanted to do it for years then I finally lost enough weight to try it. AND I LOVE IT

because I enjoy the attention at cons. no on loves me anywhere else.

Because I get to be someone else for a weekend. It's fun. And yeah, it is is kind of attention whoreish, but isn't that kind of the point?

Because its fun, and I like playing dress up. I mean it also feels good when you create an awesome looking costume, though when making it sometimes you think " why did I do this to myself"

Because I'm a big attention whore and need socially awkward creatures to acknowledge me in ways society doesn't

I cosplay because it's fun, you meet great people in this hobby & growing up I never was allowed to dress up for Halloween or go to any parties (religious family) so cosplay in a weird way kinda makes up for it, with all the fun crazy costumes. Also it has introduced me to sewing and slowly begin making things.

Because no one did it right.

I like making shit.
That's really about it.

I mean, I cook and bake, code websites for a living, futz around with K'nex and Legos every now and then, and construct costuming garments and props, all to fulfill this primal desire to make shit with my own two hands.
