either cosplayed by girls or scrawny guys and he's supposed to be
rather buff; the suits are usually good, but there isn't a single cape
for the golden sorcerer version I've seen so far that isn't floppy as
hell and looks cheap; last but not least, the wig. Nobody can get it
right. Most cosplayers are incredibly lazy and don't even try to style
it, thus looking like red haired emo kids, and the ones who do style it,
use the anime as a reference and make it ridiculously stiff and spiky.
Beatrice:
the only 100% accurate dress I've seen was on sale on yahoo japan, the
rest sucks with the exception of a very few decent ones; I have yet to
see a girl with Beato's body type and the right features do this
cosplay; for some reason *a lot* of Beato cosplayers think they don't
need a decent hoopskirt, wear too much make up and use their real hair. |
