    I usually don't work on my cosplays after working or going to school or both all day. But I do have days where I do neither, and I tend to use those. Unless a con is coming up. I usually have photoshoots planned. That motivates me to get my shit done and done right so I don't have to cancel and piss off my photographer. I'm also pretty driven by attempting to get near perfection, so I'm always updating or working on small bits of something.

    The people I cosplay with motivate me a lot and so do the people who support me.
    Conventions also motivate me to complete my costumes on time. As of right now, I'm sewing on the weekends when I don't have school.
    I can't work during the school year because of the hours of the job I had, so sometimes money is a little bit hard for me to come by when I'm finishing a project. Right now, I'm still using the money I have leftover from my last summer paycheck.

    /cgl/, some how nothing gets me more pumped to work (which is ironic since I always run away to here when I'm to lazy to work)

    or just talking about it with some one else, makes me want to finish it all up. But somedays you just need to reside yourself to your computer and relaxation when youve had a very very long day. It is just a hobby, so dont stress out to much to finish costumes when you need to take a breather.

    Right now I'm working on a costume that nobody thinks I can pull off. It's pretty intricate, creating an entire costume using fiberglass, and everybody figures I'm too lazy and/or too inexperienced to try and pull off a costume of this magnitude.

    And they might be right.

    But you know what?

    FUCK.

    THAT.

    NOISE.

    If I crash and burn, I'm going to at least go out in a blaze of glory, and I'm going to be fucking proud in my "LOL VIDEO GAEMZ" shirt and jeans at the convention, because at least I tried to do something amazing instead of just sitting at home waiting for a last minute cosplay to come to mind like I always do.
