Tbh Im pretty sure all this negative attention is making her worse. I think opposed to people shouting hey your ugly and fat, no one wants to hear that. PT has always been a crazy bitch, she just manifests it differently in the cosplay/animu world. I went to high school with her but I was not in her class. She was that awkward kid hanging on at the edges of the "cool" kid group.

I was a cheerleader and so most of my friends were cheerleaders and she was hell fucking bent on getting on the squad. She would talk to us all the time about cheerleading, how to lose weight, what color to do her hair, if any of us would help her with the try out routine, etc. Never once did she try to make regular, normal conversation with us or get to know us outside of what we could do for her.

She also wrote these HUGE long notes in all of our year books (I'll see if my parents have it somewhere) and all we wrote back was "Never change!" or some generic crap.

tldr; she was a cheeraboo before she was a weeaboo.

Most people who are "really just nice people" and "trying desperately to fit in/improve themselves/get better self esteem" don't rip people to shreds for constructive criticism. Sure, you couldn't expect her to react nicely to "ur a whale lolol" but even something like "I think your hair would look better with some volume, your eyes are pretty without contacts, etc" has gotten consistently shot down.

There was also a thread about her on cosplay.com according to my friend. She'd be infinitely forgettable as a nice hardworking cosplayer with an unfortunate face -- it's her obsessions with all things Japanese and her consistent rejection of any kind of non-positive feedback that make her fascinating.

I don't understand kindness towards people who are old and sane enough to grasp that they're being rude toward others. Unless she's legit mentally ill she deserves all the negative attention she gets.

I really want PT to get back into Lolita because I've always thought she looks really amazing in her earlier pictures when she's dressed for her figure/coloring. She's actually older than me by just a few days. (She's 25, right?) and I think I obsess about my age way less than she does. At least, that's the impression that I get when I look at her tweets/comments/etc. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't go through a miniature quarter life crisis when I had my birthday this year.
