Still, for someone trying to be accurate with the parts we know of and "creative" with the parts we don't, she does a piss poor job of it. Fabric choice is an important part of accuracy and it's clear, in probably every picture in existence of Sebastian's demon form, that he is not just wearing a pair of tights with heels. It looks more like PVC or some other weird shiny material. I believe the gloves are a similar case.

Either way, I think the main problem with any woman doing his demon form is that it's very likely more form-fitting which can create problems when your hips aren't small like a dude's. Being fit is more likely to just help you not seem absolutely disgusting, but frankly, the people who don't want to see demon-form Sebastians probably won't appreciate it much more than they do now. If you really want to do it, do it for yourself and at least be glad that you can't possibly do worse than that chick. Secondly, I met this person in a setting outside of a con. My first impression was of her/him was being introduced to "Sebastian" not "Keleigh" or anything related to their real name, but a fucking anime character.

My costume was entirely made from things around me.

The original concept for the outfit was from the limited sketches Yana Toboso has drawn of Sebastian's demon form. The only part of the costume that is not currently canon (I'm guessing nothing is canon fabric-wise, as Sebastian is shown to make his clothes appear on his body) is the torso, open arms and the face. I have numerous sketches of Sebastian's true form in bits and pieces from Yana's blog. I added the feather boa to incorporate the "black feathers" falling in episode 24 and slightly from episode 1.

Since my first post of Sebastian's true form, I have lost a good 23-25 pounds from a combination of stomach viruses, eating right and exercising daily via bikeriding. The leggings were added to make myself feel more comfortable (thighs are and have always been a problem area for me). I have developed myself a bit further and have come to draw a conclusion I've been forming since I was very young: I am male. The only reason that my gender and name are not changed on this account is that the name change is not legal yet and I am still physically female where it counts. My name WILL be changed to Sebastian, in case you were wondering, but that name has been a part of me since I first watched The Little Mermaid. Sebastian Alexander LaCroix, the middle being the male version of my current middle name and LaCroix being my mother's maiden name. If you have any questions, let me know.

It's going to work like that with any person /cgl/ goes after on dA. If they DON'T respond to a helpful prod in the right direction, then... Y'know, have fun. I certainly have quite a few times. But she seemed very willing to please and adapt to make commenters happy, provided they were respectful.

I went to Acen 2 years back with this guy, this was his Simon cosplay, and yes that is a LOT of red ducttape, I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to start any dramu, but after hearing him bitch about how people are taking pictures of my costume and how no one was taking any of him it got pretty fucking hard not to

That's a terrible excuse to put no effort into finding something suitable, just cause "lol nothing is canon". It's drawn a particular way to indicate at least the kind of fabric it might be if it were real. If you couldn't find appropriate fabric for xyz reason, just say so.
