I'm also thinking of just making a shit ton of of resin copies of cell medals and handing out of few with candy. Hardly anyone will know what they are, but I think it might be neat anyway.

I've got like three extra cans of casting resin and nothing really to do with it.

They look like... brake lights to me.
If you could buy a white brake light cover, one with that texture, you may be able to dremmel out the curved/sloped part and use it as eyes.
Not sure how you'd be able to paint it so that you could see out and still not have your eyes show, but if you used an iridescent paint, you may be able to achieve a decent looking eye.

Hah, they do look like that, now that you mention it. Not a bad idea, actually. I can always drill some eye holes through the compound pattern like the stunt helmets on the show.

If you ended up doing that you might even be able to buy one way mirrored window tinting at an auto parts store, so you could see out, but other people couldn't see in.
(I mentioned iridescent paint, but I've never seen any semi-transparent iridescent paint now that I thought about it.)

Here's a closer look at the eye pattern. This isn't the right form, but they all use the same eyes in different colors.

Hmmm... I know bright blue one way tint is possible because they do it on sunglasses, I'm just not sure how you would go about finding some that you could buy.
But even then, the pattern might not be as prominent...

There's tail light repair kits that come with red, clear, and orange acrylic. You heat it up with hot water or a blowdryer, and bend it to shape. Then you put a decal on it that gives it the 'texture' of a tail light.

So far, that's all I have planned to use for the eyes on my Fourze helmet, unless someone else has a better idea.

They see out of Really Tiny slits under the eyes.
