When you do a cosplay both the cosplay and the person who uses it make it. If one's off, the cosplay won't work.

Don't bother. Height isn't important normally. Just make your costume awesome and leave it at that.

I would say dont really bother unless your in a group and it would look funky and throw it off. I would get some boots with a slight heel on them, not like a motherfucking huge heel, but well a boot heel is the best way to describe it.

their easier to concial their platformyness though since you just bring the pants down to cover most of the hell. Making it appear as thus. Though I think she intends to bring them down just a bit farther to to cover it as much as possible. It still shows that their platforms, which I dislike with a passion, but their not nearly as bad as some of the ones Ive seen photos of.

But I'd rather recommend boots for that character, that have like an inch or two (at max) heel on them if your going alone. Even if your not, boots would just fit the style more so long as your roughly around the same hight as your counterparts (people notice less when a tall character match's the other peoples heights, than if the tall character is shorter than everyone else)

Don't do the heels, they will look dumb unless you are in a large group.

Height doesn't matter unless you are being compared to another character from the same series and height is their gimick.
Yaya and Miyu are both hella short but you can't tell unless they are in a shot with other people.
On the flip side, if the character is supposed to be short, a la Ed Elric then they look dumb tall and vice versa for tall characters.

Eh, I'd avoid the shoes man. Being the right height is good but at the extreme's your'e looking at going it will just look bizarre. As long as you look proportionally correct you don't need to worry on actual measurements. At MOST just get some 1" or 2" lifts to put in the shoes you get to slightly exaggerate your leg length. In the long run it will look much better

I have a similar problem. I tend to cosplay as characters shorter than me.

Height does not matter unless you're in group. And if then, you can still manipulate poses for pictures.

They are far less obvious than big fucking heels
