The thing wrong is the girl cosplaying Madoka is drawing the bow improperly. her elbow should be out, not at her side.

Plus it's a good learning lesson for cosplayers who don't know how to hold props and such long as this thread doesn't turn into a "LEMME SHIT ON THIS PERSON FOR SOMETHING SMALL" Yes holding a prop the wrong way is a small detail, it may suck away from the illusion of the cosplayer being in character but it happens.

Not only is Madoka holding the bow wrong, but she's got it in such a way that her entire pose is horribly awkward there.

Sayaka: okay. might want to move the cape a little
Bowdoka: if you aren't going to draw it properly then just have it at rest. It just looks awkward in this half-pull where you have it across your chest.
Kyouko: awkward pose. should stand up straight instead of being hunched over

To be fair, the Kyouko was likely trying to stay balanced.
This was taken underneath a train overpass, so they're trying to stand at the top of a steeply angled surface.
