It's part of a meme. I believe it originated because some of the madoka anime was outsourced to korean in betweener/animators. basically the japanese animators would do the main pose/facial expression/scene, then the korean animator would do the animation between each "main" drawing (hence, in betweeners) but since the koreans are working faster/for less money the quality goes down and you get really weird/wonky expressions.

some anon screen capped the wonky expressions and it became a meme where the names are pronounced wonkily as well

Let me go and correct my previous posts.

Funimation at AX. We had to work at least two shifts to qualify for a box set. Four shifts if we wanted the badge too. Two shifts was a full days work. So basically you're working at roughly minimum wage.

Arksys at AX for Blazblue. We got badges, and worked several shifts but it took roughly about a year or so to finally get the game we were promised.

Namco at Comic Con. Worked almost the whole con and got about an hour each day to check out the dealers hall. They basically gave us the badges from other industry people since those guys were only there for one day. ACP was going to try to get us a copy of Tekken 6, but we never got anything.

Jessie is absolutely gorgeous and stunning - I think she has an extremely attractive body I strive to achieve! Yeah, I know I'm starting to look older now. I just really like Madoka. I probably won't be doing any new super loli costumes. I've just always been stuck as the loli one because of my height and body type. When I cosplayed Panty, I was surprised I could pull the costume off because I didn't think I could do more mature characters. I guess eventually I had to start aging, haha. Like most cosplayers my age, I will most likely be moving into comic and movie costumes instead of anime.


As far as anything else in this thread, I am beyond floored by the compliments. I don't accept compliments well and I'm incredibly awkward and always feel like I'll come off really insincere, so for the most part I ignore them. But they do mean a lot to me. Especially this costume in particular. I've always surrounded myself with better cosplayers than me so that I could always learn from them.

We are different Diana/ Dianna's- I was the Mami in Jessie's group and I am not going to be the Mami at NYAF. I'm helping ACP with a couple other events and there was no way to schedule all of it. As for the other girls in the group- I think they are making costumes for NYAF and haven't completed them yet but I don't know them. I'm sure they are all going to make nice costumes so I wouldn't worry bout it.
