I
want to try to switch the fabric on the shoulders of a normal trench
coat with some neat floral pattern like the one Jensen got. Also some big Grommets/Eyelets(?) should be easy to add to simulate what I assume are Typhoon related holes/stylish choice.
However
I figured if I back the grommets with some stiff material I could add a
re-purposed disposable camera flash unit hidden between the layers of
fabric. I have already made a functional prototype that is the size
of three stacked coins, so it will not make any unsightly bulges. Got
these firing the flash up too several times a second(adjustable), with
the awesome power of blinding that is a disposable camera!
However
the units would require a central battery/transformer/capacitor hub, I
could conceal it in the pockets easy enough. While I am at it carrying a
power pack I might as well conceal an flexible-antenna under the fabric
and hook it up to my phone-network/WiFi jammer for increased ranged(got
this concept working already).
The hardest part would be to make
sure all the components remain intact should I sit down or errr...
move. Without them getting too big and ruin the trench coats looks.
Also the collar, damned that will be hard to modify on an different coat without butchering it.
Thought
on this? My cloak have to be augmented at least, if I'm not. Imagine
setting off multiple camera-flashes in the dark of night. Simultaneously
in every direction multiple times a second, with a small button, maybe
contained inside the sleeve.
Not as destructive as the Typhoon but it certainly would make me stand out. |
