    Hello, selfpost shit again. I want to know if I should attempt Tomoe Mami. I watched Madoka when it aired(massive f/a/g here) and it was an amazing take of the mahou shoujo genre. Mami was always my favorite characters due to her character design, closely followed by Madoka.

    Here's the thing : Should I try a crossplay Mami or a cosplay genderbent Mami? I saw some dudes doing "genderbent", it looked great in my opinion. I think the costume can be fairly unisex... thoughts?

    Also, I will start by doing the rifles in 2 weeks, can't wait. I'll have time to perfect them, as I won't start doing the costume until in 5 months when I hit my ~20% body fat.

    Is this a good looking rifle? Also, does con usually let pass wooden things? I could try to make a wood carved rifle, for a heavier feel and more aesthetically pleasing.

    The gun looks good, there's something odd w/ the hilt (seems too straight maybe) but over all the construction looks good. Just be careful as its not gonna stand up to real heavy duty abuse

    There's no set rules for rule63 really. Just incorporate elements of the original outfit so you'll be recognizable. And it's always fun to have another person also doing it with you (like a rule 63 Homura or something).
