do they just not what anyone to admit they like anime, ever? or are they suggesting not to bring it up around potential dates? i don't get it.

but either way, i agree that it should be kept low-key. there's nothing wrong with liking anime or manga, or any other subject matter, as long as it doesn't completely dominate your life and spill over into every conversation you ever have.
i know a few people who can't seem to go five minutes without mentioning something animu related and it is a giant turn off, even though i also enjoy anime.

There are plenty of scantly clad women and western comics. If somebody were to say the only reason people like western comics are for women in skin tight super hero clothing, they would get shit on.

While I agree that some...male fans should probably keep it reigned in how much they like the shows with the big titted women and such, it's not like all anime fans are male, nor are all animes like that.

I remember watching a standup special on Comedy Central the other day where the comedian said he knew a girl that was into kinky stuff like "Cosplay".

But...I'm a girl, and I love big titted anime girls, usually when I bring that up to guys it's a plus.
