Friend
of mine builds quad suits. The ones she wears for conventions, she only
ever bends down/into position for photos or for the actual masquerade.
The rest of the time, the mask/head of the suit is carried by her
sister/handler and she's walking mostly normally.
No idea if
that person does the same, but my friend has remarked in the past on the
fact that it's insanely uncomfortable to stay hunched like that for
long, not to mention a pain to get through crowded halls at a
convention. |
