didn't even bother watching this, as her initial comment about "WHY
ISN'T EVERYONE FIXING THE ECONOMY" is a retarded argument. It reminds me
of the effort to get a Robocop statue in Detroit. There were tons of
people bitching about how this money should be donated to more
appropriate causes, like the Detroit schools and whatnot, ignoring the
fact that there were people from places in Europe donating just so they
would have some reason to come visit Detroit - this was money that
Detroit schools would have NEVER seen, but tards believed ALL money
should go to Detroit schools. The ignored the fact that it made people
want to visit Detroit, thus bringing in revenue from tourism. NOPE, not a
direct enough solution to their one specific idea.
This woman,
using that opening statement, falls into the same idiotic argument of
"why isn't everyone doing something that I understand instead of all
these things that I don't?"
And it's like what was mentioned
earlier - cons DO benefit the local economy. For a good example, look at
how dependent Baltimore is on Otakon. |
