    Honestly I think it's a troll

    >I will never in my life order anything lolita again.

You have to be pretty fucking dumb to not do something because one, admittedly not-that-good, company fucks up.
    >> ei666shii !ZTjyeR9bsM 08/24/11(Wed)17:01 No.4887746
LLLOOLLLL She must have seriously fucked that shit up. I've never seen F+F mess up that bad unless the customer gave the wrong measurements. I got a custom order from the from two years ago and the dress was a little long, but nowhere as fucked up as this thing. Either she had no concept of measurement or she typed in something wrong. Definately not F+F's issue.

not sure if troll. she mentioned she only owns one pair of shorts, so she's going to have to wear the same pair of shorts three days in a row at a convention now...but...then what does she normally do? wash the shorts every single night?
    >> Anonymous 08/24/11(Wed)17:08 No.4887769
My problem is her whining even though she knows it was her fault. At least she didn't pretend it was a review.

    >I think its my fault tho I guess I gave the wrong measurements :(

    >I will never in my life order anything lolita again.

    >I wanted to wear it to anime convention on September 2.
    >It would have been my first anime convention. >Also it would have been my first time wearing lolita.
    >I spent $118 on this skirt :(
    >Now I have nothing to wear to the convention.
    >I only own 1 pair of shorts and 3 black shirts. I would have to wear the same shorts for 3 days.
Cuz that's their fault. If you have 1 pair of shorts and 3 shirts... Priorities. Maybe you should have bought regular clothing before lolita, since you don't have the money to spare it seems.

This just makes me wonder how often F+F gets insane landwhale measurements that they didn't even bat an eye or ask her if she was sure those were her accurate measurements.

Seriously. When I gave them measurements for something that would have made the dress midthigh as I specified. They emailed me with the subject title "Size confirmation needed for your fanplusfriend order" and annotated my measurements list with, and I quote, "The length you request is quite short, no exchange or return for such a custom item."
"May you please also inform the length you prefer from waist to bottom of the dress which is the skirt part?"

Hard to believe they weren't like "are you SURE that's the right size?" and requested she pay extra for the extra fabric. Because holy shit that was a lot of fabric.

More than 5USD should have been her hint. lol

This girl is just retarded. To start, her entire post is just whining, not even complaining. She's not even asking for help with this crap.

She really spent $118 on that shit? Continual evidence that F+F is for itas who like to be itas.

Sounds like she didn't even buy a top, or shoes if that skirts was the only thing that held her outfit together.

Such an easy fix too with a sewing machine and some basic skill.

Leaving lolita because she couldn't be an ita for one anime convention... I won't miss her.

I learned the first time not to custom order from F+F, I always get items made from their size chart. From what I can see, I'm sure the chick could've fit in the 32-36 inch size and didn't need to custom order. But who knows, she could have a 42 inch waist.

Odd. I gave them exact measurements for everything to be sure they couldn't fuck anything up and they made my dress perfectly.

But then just wanted to dress to fit and flatter my 35-25-35 5'7" frame.
I guess it wasn't that out of the norm.
Hell, I gave them everything from neck circumference for the collar to breast height and underbust measurement for the bodice. Then should to waist to make sure it set in the right place on my longer than average torso.

    It was PERFECTLY sized.

    >>4887804
I think their service is pretty inconsistent, maybe it depends who you are dealing with? You know, a lot of shops can have a few very meticulous employees and then 1-2 who don't give a shit. I ordered from F+F once when I was just starting in the fashion. I gave them my correct measurements and I got a dress that fit perfectly and a blouse that well.... I dunno what the hell they did with it. The waist was fine and then the bust and shoulders were as if they were made for a freaking rugby player. I have a 35" bust and the dress fit nicely with a blouse underneath and the blouse they sent me was for someone with minimum 42" bust. I have no idea how they got it so wrong.

But yeah, considering how hit or miss they are, I never risked it again. It's not like they are dirt cheap so imho it's not worth the risk.

We don't know that she said cm.

F+F would have asked her for more money for the extra fabric that would be needed, almost definitely. And then probably would have asked if the sizing was correct.

Legit issue. If it's a legit issue. Fine. That's great. Send it back to them and have them send the correct size.

All her whining about "first con" and "only have such and such to wear" is absolutely annoying.
