Sage for unrelated. I met Snacks before I really knew who the fuck he was at DragonCon last year.
He knocked on the door of the room party, looked EXTREMELY nervous, said hi to his friend, then looked around oddly... So instead of shaking his hand and greeting him properly, I just smiled said hello and hovered by, waiting for him to open up and maybe introduce himself and walk in. He did neither.

"That was Snacks!" " ... Oh. I wouldn't have guessed."
(I wasn't on 4chan at the time the drama happened anyway. So I wasn't about to go "DOOD I KNOW HIM. BRING HIM BACK.")

He looked nervous as fuck. As if he was hiding from someone who was going to stir up shit if they recognized him.

Pretty sure /po/ made a replica of the hammers.
You could probably scale those up and reinforce them with resin and fibreglass to make them strong enough.

In reply to your story, I've seen him from afar, and automatically knew it was him. I think I would have tried talking to him, sucks you didn't know who he was. It's also surprising he was so shy.. it's interesting how he acted I suppose. Maybe it's the image in my head of him banning left and right that makes him seem much more aggressive and uptight.. haha.
