I dont have anything against Behindinfinity and her schizo issues, but I think they're overrated.

Sure they have a couple of cosplays that are noteworthy but everything else is substandard and heavily relies on shop.

It annoys me that despite that fact, people still gush over their substandard submissions like it's the best thing ever when its not. As long as it's branded as theirs people will automatically call it "awesome" "amazing" regardless of how lame it is.

People say they like things without thinking or actually deciding on it. They just mimic what other people do.

Seriously /cgl/, stop it. I know there usually are a few jealous ugly landwhales here bitching about beautiful girls with nice cosplays, but now it looks like /cgl/ is only populated by people like these, making pointless and ridiculous drama threads about anyone slightly good at cosplay. This is out of control.

Go and get /fit/, improve your skills or buy an actual good cosplay. This way you will look nice and accurate, we won't have to use bleach in our eyes constantly and you will stop bitching about any remotely good cosplay, since you'll be busy doing it right.

I find offensive how obese, egotistical and insulting cosplayers who are wearing garbage shit as a cosplay ruin whole series, but dare to critizise or look down on cosplayers that are better than them here or even in RL. I understand critizising terribad or lazy cosplay, but doing that to the decent and good ones only reveals jelly.

I can't search for Kingdom Hearts or Tales of games cosplays other than in Cure, because only shit made by these specimens comes out in the western websites. Sadly, some of the Cure ones are Asians with an unfortunate face that doesn't fit the characters very well, but I still prefer looking at them. At least they put effort in what they do and do look good.

About the points you made. Yes yes yes. We all know the difference between a digicam and a high end camera and good photogs.

With good photogs you get pics with their nice angles. But these are all the same shots. Their facial expressions and their poses stay mostly the same + lighting deceives people and makes them look different + post processed.. translation: photoshopped

VS.

Pictures taken by other people. Their photos are taken from every possible angle + their pictures are taken under normal lighting conditions hence showing what they really look like (think everyday normal) + they're not photoshopped.

So in other words. The pictures taken by other people are what they really look like in real life.

Or would you like to go ahead and say that those pictures taken by pros are what they look like in real life?

They ignore all the nice comments and shit (I understand not answering short generic comments like "cool!" "awesome" "great cosplay") but I've seen well thought out comments go ignored so many times, or people asking for help or advice, and the only comments that get responses are stupid attempts at flaming, or comments from other popular cosplayers or close friends (which I could understand the latter)

its one of the reasons why I dislike a lot of 'famous' cosplayers on DA
they come off as stuck up.

anyway, I don't follow tuxedo team, and although I don't find their cosplays amazing, I think they are pretty good. They know how to photoshop their pictures, and as far as I know, they are really nice irl, at least Jin was quite friendly to me; only pet peeve I have with them is the whole "privacy" thing about that location
