Oh I went to the cosplay competetion this weekend, it was fucking awful, and it was 90% anime.

Because it's sadly become an 'anime of the month' type of deal, followed by a bunch of the usual side of the internet.

It's just a trend of what's popular to get attention. On the bright side, i can't stand modern day anime, on the negative side, i have no idea what the fuck anything is going on anymore.

Really? I wouldn't say it's in the minority - I definitely saw a fair amount of anime-related cosplay at Anime Expo this year.

Because good anime is few and far between.

I still see anime cosplays like Sailor Moon, Ao no, and DRRR.

So it depends on what anime con you go to.

because it's easier to say "anime con" than "anime, manga, video games, and other japanese culture con"
