Third, good luck finding me with enough spare time at a convention to go have sex, AND not completely exhausted or half-asleep.

Oh, and fourth, the guy would have to have his own hotel room that other people aren't staying in. And at conventions? Good luck with that happening.

But getting laid at cons or getting into a relationship at one is easy if you have even a vague sense of what you are doing. I have a male friend who spends all his time cosplaying popular male shoujo characters and picking girls up at cons. He hooks up with the first girl that weekend, then spends the time between cons driving out to visit and fuck the runners up he met that weekend.

You're at a three day party with a group of people who are feeling freed by the fact that they are in a new place and letting their hair down and socializing when they may not do so all year. Alcohol is flowing, drugs are making their covert rounds, a good number of people are half naked, and stuffed into hotel rooms with a bunch of other half naked people.

The only real reason these things don't regularly erupt into orgies is because no one is staying in a room of their own and it's tricky to find private places to fuck.
