Long story. There were people there at pickles, but the dinner event was doublebooked by a private event. So there was no dinner. Fang was there and managed to recognize me under the mask.

what happened was I showed up with some friends. bunch of CGL people didnt know where to sit. I suggest a place. they said we can't sit there because it was reserved. so i sat somewhere else, nobody followed but my friends. we got wasted, handed out glowsticks, played lots of drinking games with the rest of the people in the bar. JKID got kicked out for wearing a mask and the bartenders made fun of him for it

I was at the pub, saw a bunch of others. Bar wasn't clean because it was a bit of a clusterfuck around the large tables, and that guy who said something to us about the private party was bullshitting us. But it wasn't worth causing a scene because he was drunk as shit, his buddies were toasted, and we were all sober. So I got a beer from the bar and we peaced.

Not the highlight of the weekend but I had a great time with my seagulls anyway.

It's true, I did got stopped and questioned twice by the Baltimore police while wearing my costume. Once in Artscape 2011 and once in Otakon 2011. Both involved the same cops.

Artscape 2011: They been hearing complaints about my costume because they claim that I was scaring people with it. They simply told me to take off the mask for the rest of the period. Ironically, before then people everywhere during Artscape wanted to take a picture with me because to them, I was a walking art exhibit.

Otakon 2011: I met the same officers on Saturday, they were cool with me with my costume since it was a anime convention. They were actually looking for me during the con and wanted to chat with me.

Just jumping in here to say you dont just stick a damn camera in someones face, you ASK first. a few anons brought cameras to the toronto meet, and they asked before they turned them on if everyone was ok with it.
