Saturday I had a black shirt and jeans

Saturday night I was shirtless for the rave, shirtless, black pants, glasses, black shoes. I also was in the game room shirtless playing street fighter IV. I was playing as Ibuki.

Sunday (today) I was just wearing a gray wife beater.

It helps if you don't smell like con funk, so please apply deodorant and wash every day you're at the con! Be nice and friendly but not overbearing. If when you're talking to a girl and she seems uncomfortable then take that as a hint to leave, but if she's carrying a real conversation with you not just answering your questions then she might be into you.

You really just need to read a girls movements and how she talks. There were like 3,000 people at Otakon, if things don't work out with one girl then just brush it off and try with another. I'm sure 1 out of 1,500 girls there will hang out with you.

As for me, there was a ton of interesting things... But they were all at the same goddamn time, or conflicted with the time needed to queue up for something big. In the end I only got to attend 5 panels (Kaiju, Stephanie Sheh Q&A, anime villains, funny Japanese commercials, and the Abridged panel) 1 screening (the FMA movie, it was okay), and 1 signing. The rest was trying to locate my friends, waiting in line in the video game hall, and browsing the Artist Alley and Dealer Hall.

... Actually, in retrospect, I had a decent time.

Also, anyone got a picture of that Riza I saw walking around? It was a pretty well made costume, sleeveless for some reason though... I did take a picture of her but it's on my phone, which I don't know how to get pics off of... that and it's really crappy.

What a miserable con. Too hot, too crowded, poorly scheduled, inept staff.

This year was my first con and my first time cosplaying. I went alone because none of my friends like anime.

Everyone who I talked to was very nice but I didn't meet anyone. I acted confident and happy and posed with gusto when lots of people asked for my photo, so everyone thought I was a handsome lone wolf, but I was so ronery and just wanted to hang out with the weeaboos. I would talk to people but after 30 seconds or so they and their group of friends would walk away. I-I wish someone would invite me to hang out with them or their group.

The costumes I brought I never really wore. Nia lasted an hour before it was falling off my body, and Mu never came together. I did however rock a shitty Kyuubey gijinka I made in like...an hour. and I actually had a lot of fun! It's nice to do comfy cosplay, even if it's silly.
I'm sad I forgot my camera though, I wanted to get more pics and my phone was being crazy finicky. I also didn't do a lot of stuff at the con, mainly hung out with friends, but had a great time.

Tried Lost and Found, they're a load of fucking idiots who made me fill out three forms, waited in the help line for an hour and a half, before realizing, 'Shit, I don't have my ID with me'. Second from the left is freaking adorable, though, come on. I think her and the Ayane are the best of the bunch. Yeah you can tell she's not a twig, but she's not trying to squeeze into something that doesn't suit her body either.
