Seagulls, I pose you a question.As a guy cosplaying a guy dressed as a girl, how much effort should be put in to attempting to look like a girl?For more specific help, the guy in question is tall, well built, caucasian, good looking with strong features, really dark eyebrows and freckles. He also has rather hairy legs.Picture related, what my boyfriend wants to cosplay.
If that is what you're cosplaying as, then I would say don't use makeup. Just do the costume and wig right. People will know who you are.
In my experience, as long as something doesn't detract from the cosplay, leave it in. Here's an example.
