So I want to cosplay as Mayuri from Steins;gate and make a gel banana. How would I make it or get that texture? I was thinking of getting a stalk of bananas for the day from the grocery store and then attaching the gel banana somehow but I'm not sure what material I'd use. Is there a name for those "jelly" things that some cheap keychains are made of? They're like semi hardened, non-edible jello. I was hoping to make it sort of see-through because they're gel bananas but if not, would something like air dry clay or model magic work?
My friend once made a jello mold heart for a project (jell-o and a little food dye), and it looked awesome. And it was edible! You might have to make a banana mold but it could work...

I want to suggest resin, but since I don't have good experience I can't recommend anything specific.But go looking around at different plastics you could cast it out of.
