They had a whole 100+ or so comment fight about a panel a while back, and that's what set me off. They have this whole "I have to do this first and no one else can do it!" attitude. It's a dictatorship and the queen bees run everything. Anyone that says a word against them is 'stirring shit up' for no reason. Classic mob mentality, one person says one thing to someone and all their friends jump on them, even if they don't know exactly what's going on. Drama starts out really easy and never stops once it starts because of all this shit.

The group has it's problems, and what sucks the most is that this event is the worst side of the fandom. It was created by the weebs of the group, the crazy Hetaliafags. The older members of the group have almost stepped away form Hetalia other than this group, and while yeah they have problems, most of them are caused by the weebs of the group who create events like this and then ruin the reputation. I'm not trying to defend them, because each member has it's flaw, but seriously they have a terrible amount of weebs in their group that completely ruin a lot of things that happen. There are some genuinely awesome members of this cosplay group, but the're too shallow and drama queen-ish to allow anyone else to see this.

Honestly, I only left because I didn't like that the "newer" people got kinda ignored. I consider myself one of the "newer" people, and I wasn't ignored like some of them were, but I still found it kind of rude. The entire point of the group was to plan meets and put together things so that other Hetalia fans could meet each other and make friends for cons and whatnot. The facebook page serves no purpose other than to plan these meets, and the admins are purely to put together events. There aren't real admins, we aren't an elitist group of cosplayers, we're just a group of people who love to get together, meet new people, meet fans of something we all love, and help things get put together. Videos and panels are put together inside the group, but our group of DFW Hetalia has nothing to do with what happens. It's just members inside the meet group that puts these things together.

Okay as a member of dfw hetalia, and has family that works as the head of security at northpark. I've stated before that if you go to northpark mall to troll around get a better idea because I can drop pictures and such to said family and they will have you removed on sight.
