    What do? No irl friends would ever even consider a request to put on a costume and prance around with me at a con. I've tried asking the google gods concerning finding a cosplay group in my area, but pretty much all the leads were dead ends. Aside from networking at cons, what other ways do you seagulls find geeky friends to chill with at cons?

    You could go to a forum or something similar and just ask around or see if someone else wants to do groups with you.

    If you are really lucky you can cosplay whatever you like in a big series like Naruto and find people to do stuff with you.

    But besides you having friends to actually do it it's hard to do any groups outside of three or more.

    I'm actually going to a con next month without anyone I know. I've been to this con 4 times before, but I always had friends with me... I have no idea how it's going to pan out. I think that I'll just have to be friendly to people? D: Maybe become friends with my roommates and tag along with them for the first day until I meet enough people that I could go off from there. idek
