The problem is this is a slow section. Slower than most other sections. A lot of people are lazy as well. If it applies to them or appeals to them they will stick around and give their two cents. The cutting thread has nothing to do with anime, neither does the /fit/ threads or the threads about PT really. But they are still around because of popularity sake.

So all you can do is hide those threads since complaining or trolling those threads only bump them back up, and thus repeat the cycle. Or wait for them to die out.

It happens all the times in threads. I even fall for it. We would having a normal conversation and someone made a comment and bam debate. off topic about nothing.

All you can do is either lurk or ignore the threads that you don't like and report the ones that are off topic. I don't like the PT threads and how the next three pages are about her. I don't like all the vomit reaction pictures people keep posting. But is me complaining or voicing my opinion going to make the person suddenly stop? No.

But that's the problem you can't really do that here. If a server is bad you can tell the manager and they are either cool with the manager or are going to get wrote up. I know because I used to work in retail and some people were posh with the wankers that were my bosses. Also if the person continued to act like a moron they are going to get fired eventually. But here there are tons of bad threads and tons of threads that don't belong. You can report it and you can try to troll it, but it does nothing unless a mod is lucky enough to get rid of it. I still see three-four fit threads sometimes and seen six PT threads. The guy who posted Granny porn did it not once, but three times.

Someone posted a progress thread after the last one 404 and people tried to sage and report that. There are too many problems that anons can't really fix no matter how much they voice their opinion.

Besides Blue and a few others, I haven't seen too many trip self post their cosplay. The few guys that do (that are not locals here,) are GTFO, use a wig or you are too ugly to cosplay because you don't look like said anime character so go to fit.

I might be naive and over-idealistic but I feel like taking an active role helps. Back when mary jane was really bad I used to try and tear her down a lot and a few others did the same thing around the same time, and now she's pretty much gone and all the "I'm such a big fan of mary jane!" threads mysteriously disappeared as well.
