I knew someone would say this...and I'm going to vote no. Unless you're attempting Harry from SH1 or some of his variants in SHSM the rest of the characters have pretty special outfits and people always omit the details because they do closet cosplays or alter things badly. I mean really, the fandom is bastardized enough by people who tea-dye their skanky halloween special nurse dresses and then smear bright red blood all over their paper mache masks. Henry Townshend is one I could envision, though I know that finding a shirt with the right pockets is a bitch...I guess one could make a bad version that is recognizable though, so maybe my wall of text is kind of pointless.

Many of the Venture Bros characters... except that I've heard Dean's vest is difficult to find/replicate without making it from scratch.

Brock Samson (assuming you have his physique), Hank Venture, Triana Orpheus... all are fairly easy to put together with relatively normal clothing. Even Dr Girlfriend's pink outfit is fairly easy to find.

Koichi Shidou (Highschool of the Dead) - Proper wig, glasses, black suit. Should have proper props such as a box of condoms and other HotD cosplayers with you.

Niijima (Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple) - White button up, wig, elf ears and fangs

Jeego (Ghost Trick) - Black Fedora, matching suit, gray shirt, red tie and blue krylon facepaint.

Teddie (Persona 4) - Original version was a white button up, wig and a flower pin.

Rin Tohsaka (Fate/Stay Night) Painted red turtleneck and miniskirt.

Regardless of what you think of the fandom, it's dirt easy to pull off John, Dave, Rose, or Jade from your closet. Most work you would have to do would be to iron on a logo if you don't have the official shirts, and you often don't even need a wig.

I closet-cosplayed Shin from Dorohedoro without his mask a while back, and while I only got one person recognizing me, it cost me like $10 total, about zero effort since I didn't put a few of the costume details in, and since I was splattered all over with fake blood, I got more attention than with any of my legit effort-required costumes at that convention. And Shin wears glasses.

This bitch is the easiest thing to cosplay. Get a white sundress, sandals, a conventional blonde wig, and blue lenses. Grab a sketch book and plaster it with shitty crayola doodles. Done.

All the characters from Scandinavia and the World. I was Sister Finland at Animazement. Whole thing was about twenty bucks to make, and that includes the skirt and leggings and hat that I like enough to wear all the time.

These characters are ultra easymode. I made these costumes over one weekend when I was 13. That's how simple they are.

Minami-ke. The characters have a ton of casual clothing, the uniforms for Chiaki's and Haruka's schools can be thrifted, I AM BOSS shirts can be made in minutes (just get iron-on letters at a fabric store, or paint them on). There are enough characters that you should be able to find someone with hair that matches yours.

Hell, the characters have enough casual clothes that you can just wear anything vaguely similar from your closet and no one will know.

Cooking Mama. I thrifted most of mine and made the apron out of a yard of yellow fabric and the bandana out of a pind bandana and some paint from Michaels.

Naota is really just a blue hoody, grey shorts, and a hat of you're choosing. Mamimi is pretty much a typical school girl uniform and a pink wig.

Also, Harry Potter characters can be dead simple. The only thing that would be somewhat hard to get would be the robe, but Hermione doesn't wear it as often as she used to.
