Actually no.

While Pokemon and Digimon share similar concepts with monsters and what not, Digimon has the better story(well, had I guess, I'm looking at the older seasons), and had more going on then, "let's collect monsters and play with them!"

I like both series, but I would say Digimon was the better of the two in the long run animu wise. I wish people could look past it as being a rip off...

You do realise it's impossible for an animated show to be spun up in a week or two, thus making it highly illogical, if not impossible, for Digimon to have been a rip off? For example, this is the same reason REPO! The Genetic Opera could not sue the Repo Men movie creators, because the book it was 'based off' was allegedly written right around the time of the original stage play.
1/10 for effort but lacking the ability to understand the entertainment business and linear time.

I am a major Pokemon fantard, loved since the very day it was released in English-language regions.
I love Digimon as well, especially as a kid when it was airing on TV after school.

The simple fact is
