Aren't lolita story threads, con coming up threads, and artist alley threads at least somewhat acceptable? It is also a lolita board, and conventions are the main place for cosplayers.

However yes threads about people and about venting are off topic...

There wouldn't be enough material on this board to keep it moving if those subjects wern't talked about, have you ever seen /po/? Don't like cgl? Then google your cosplay pictures and questions. I mean goddamn.

You know what works a lot better than complaining? Posting in threads that are actually about cosplay or adding some new ones. Making this thread just creates more threads that aren't about cosplay.

K this is just stupid; technically it is "4chan's imageboard [for the discussion of cosplay and EGL pictures]" but it is dumb to say that this means we can't talk about conventions or have cosplay advice or progress threads. I have found PLENTY of threads just now briefly browsing the first three pages that even meet the specific criteria of "discussion of cosplay/EGL pictures" (for example, the pretty epic "cosplay pictures that tell a story" thread). So you're basically just bitching and adding to the mess at this point.

At least /b/ is kind of funny at times. /cgl/ is just a handful of women trash-talking each other and gossiping about irrelevant shit no one cares about. /cgl/ without retarted off topic threads is like a dumpster without rats. Sure it would be nice but it's still a fucking dumpster.

That being said Lolita story threads are related to the Lolita community, and same with threads bitching about other Lolitas, though that is against the rules of 4chan... (isn't it) and the Artist Alley threads are pretty nice plus they stay in one thread and don't leak out of there until it maxes then there are only one or two more before they don't have any for a couple of months.

And also there are plenty of on topic threads that end up with people bitching about whats in that thread anyways. Like a few weeks ago when there was the series of Hetalia threads (all active only one at a time) and there was that Shoujo thread where people just bitched because there was Josei and a few non-Shoujo or Josei pictures posted in it.

Oh and since this thread isn't cosplay of Lolita related saged and reported.

You girls keep complaining about the board's content, go to rockstarchan.org/cos if you're fed up with how cgl has become. Even as a cosplay board in the past, cgl wasn't even that slow.
