The free transport consist of some hired shuttles, I believe. I was at the Holiday Inn Express [NOT RECOMMENDED -- Too far and dubious crowd there, since it's the last-resort hotel] and used the shuttle after a horrible trek across the Russell St. overpass.

Fed Hill's close enough to walk, IMO.

Oh, and an unrelated comment: I am so sad everybody's doing Fairy Tail cosplay NOW, because I am, as far as I know, the only Rave Master [Hiro Mashima's previous manga] cosplayer in existence. I'm kinda wtf'd because half the characters are really similar.

No, not really... I DEFINITELY don't want to be the ONLY Rave Master cosplayer. I want PLENTY of RM cosplayers, it's got some good designs!
It's just I've made a fool of myself by asking various FT cosplayers if they were doing RM, and half of them haven't read it.

And, well, I prefer RM and think it's stupid that Mashima recycled so many of the designs. Mystogan/Fernandes guy are nearly carbon copies of Sieg Hart, who is one of my favourite Rave Master characters. Those guys also seem to be very popular cosplay for guys doing FT. Hence, I make an ass of myself.

I've done ELIE several times; Five or six people have recognised me, and it's made me the happiest person -ever- when they did. I kinda just want a Musica who likes RM, or a Sieg, or Shuda, or Nagisa, or any of ten dozen characters that are great.

Anime Boston 2011 was my first anime convention and I had a great time, so I told my friend who is thinking of going to Otakon this year that I want to go.
