Yeah, probably this as well, I'm more of an older rock and roll music type. About the only techno group I can think of that I actively listen to is Daft Punk. Still, even as far as dance or techno goes, this stuff is pretty boring and a bit too much on the bubblegum pop variety.

I like Kpop, but what bothers me is the instrumentals on these tracks, and the way the song is sung. In american pop, the songs are distinct and usually even if the singer isn't the best the instrumental is godly enough where you like the song. The song is also written in a way the compliments the singer. Ke$ha is a good example of this. I could dance to Tik Tok without even listening to her voice. I know is a different industry over there, but I think company's should stop making generic songs that can be used by anyone, and start making songs that are unique to a group or singer.

I think this is one of the things holding Kpop back.

And I'm always accused of thinking all Asians look alike because I mix the bands up. A ton of the fandom from Lolita have moved over from Japanese bands to kpop, too.
