Decora is still a separate style;
Fairy Kei is more about pastels and giving off an 80's feel
(stuff like MLP, Care Bears, Barbie, Popples, etc)

As for where to buy fairy-kei clothes,
try thrift stores, for instance cutting parts(images) from baby's pajamas
It's easier to find pastels in sleepwear I've found

Well, decora is a relatively dead style in Japan now. Fairy kei kind of did evolve from the decora style, combined with the Spank! thing.

So i'm going as Fairy Kei on a fashion show at a con. My outfit will be in the colors Pink and Lavender and I wonder if I should wear my Lavender lolita shoes, or if a should buy a pair of pink sneakers and maybe paint them (like match my t-shirt and paint on a my little pony or something on them)

Anyone know anywhere that's selling baby pink or blue cardigans for under $25? Those color never seem to be in style for anyone above the age of 9 in the US and the thirft stores around here have nothing atm.

I'm hoping to design and get a few fairy kei styled shirts professionally screen printed within the next month or two. I'll be doing the process as a preorder where I will need at least 15 people to preorder the shirts at a discounted price of $15. After that shirts will go up to $25. I'll be making posts on popkei and egl getting feedback ect then open the preorder if I feel enough people would be interested. Sorry for the self promote but it may interest some people as I have a hard time finding reasonably priced cute tshirts for the style and have the ability to make them.
