  I
sew plushies out of fleece, felt and socks. The one that took me the
longest and most effort was a Tyranid/Cutenid based off from an unknown
artist's style (I still have no idea who drew the different Tyranids in a
 very cute fashion).
Pic related, it was the first plushie that
was to test the pattern; there were some kinks so I made note of them
for the actual plushie of a different color scheme. This one was all
hand-sewn, while the other had the torso part machine-sewn - definitely made a difference! Testee plushie was more pudgy and small, and other was skinnier and stood taller.
  On
the side note, does anyone have recommendations of where to get those
poly beads of sort to give plushies some weight in places? I tried my
local fabric stores and Michaels doesn't seem to carry them, unless I'm
not looking in the right places... |
