I'd really love to do this Shedinja design, but, like with most gijinka designs, I'm afraid that unless you know "Oh, this is a [insert pokemon here]" beforehand, it'll be hard/impossible to figure out.

I cosplayed an Absol gijinka at Anime Los Angeles this pas year. But I was modest about it since I'm not the thinnest I decided to spare people the horror.

I just wore a knee-length dress and black tights with flats and a huge absol blade thingy on my white wig (of which I'm quite proud)

But slutty pokemon cosplayers annoy the shit out of me.

I have two planned, actually. I want to make a ninetales with the outfit an "adult" (full length) Kimono and probably some "lady style" pokemon themed accessories and a Vulpix with a "kid" (just below/to my knees + short sleeves) kimono with one of those water balloon yo-yo things painted like a pokeball or some other kiddy Japanese toy. It's gonna be cute!

I like gijinka cosplays and I want to do one in the future, but I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to the definition of gijinka. If a costume, let's say Umbreon, has a head band with the ears on and a belt with a tail, it's not a gijinka. The best gijinka cosplays don't need ears/tails to be recognisable.

I'll admit that I like her wings, but it's a shitty costume overall, not to mention one that's totally unflattering to her body type.

I do a lot of Gijinka commissions, so I'm happy with them. I do some for fun for myself, but only as dresses, and as day projects as a break from a big costume project. I wore my snorlax dress to a con as a comfy thing to change into after a long day ^^

Pic related, some of the ones I've done, plus ones I have ordered. Meowth, Snorlax, Gardevoir, Umbreon (in progress), Bellosom (Just ordered), progress on an un-finished Clefable, and a super duper gay sazandora that could be super fun to make! (if he finalizes his order!)

So basically I have fun with gijinkas, but I myself don't wear them as real costumes.
