I am looking a any how to goth dance video (non belly, non south park). I am hoping there are a few non trolls out there than can help.
Broodmother's PR rep assures her that in order to get groovy with Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy, one must light a clove cigarette and learn to move rhythmically without smiling.Broodmother's in parties. It's in the can.
What type of "goth" are we talking about here? Tank9 is a good example of dancing to goth/industrial music. Though it tends to lean more towards industrial, I have known people who identify themselves as "Goth" who still like industrial.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYqAOwcvLYsHere he is dancing at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, and since a girl is dancing with him its an example for either gender dancing. Some people say that dancing to industrial just looks like stomping around and punching the air, this however is a good example of that not being 100% true.
>>4180641 lol but not quite what I am looking for.
>>4180682shut the fuck up.
>>4180641thanx fairycake, I saw a video of then dancing earlier, but this slower, for mimicking, Just hoping for a how too video.goth type, common bar
>>4180808Maybe a good thing to do would be go down to a goth nightclub you dont plan on frequenting (maybe one a bit further away from home) and just watch people on the dance floor. The way you dance to any music will come naturally to you, and then you can add influences of how you like the way that other people dance to the how you dance. I hope that made any sense at all. Also, you can always close all the blinds at home, turn music on really loud and dance in the dark until you feel more comfortable with yourself.
>>4180641thanx fairycake,
>>4180641Hey Look the subject is reliant to cgl: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRCoJC08hIY&feature=related
>>4181165Dancing with Tank9 at AX is one thing I want to eventually do. :D
>>4180641It would be Epic!
If you go to a goth club, they will either be playing industrial music or EBM.Start off by dancing somewhat like this (the girl with the pink mohawk) and gradually move around a bit more when you get comfortable with what you're doing:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVCDKMpBMRgAn example of what not to go out and try to do your first day at a club:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahasGwxoi_o&feature=relatedThe chick in the second video is terrible. Her movements are awkward and too slow for the music and she basically does the same thing over and over with no sense of rhythm.- Tips from a girl who frequently dj's at a goth/industrial club.
cannot believe this hasnt been psoted yet
I like EBM, but not so much this style of dancing.
watching these videos makes me miss dancing. i want to go out now.
