I found this Stocking wig that looks promising (pic and link related) and is around $20 cheaper than what I was originally going to do (like many others, weft the pink into a dark wig).

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the seller. The feedback is good, so I looked through the messages, but I didn't see any on this particular wig. Just looking for some input before I get too attached.

it means two wigs were taken and sewn together. Probably because most of the premade stocking wigs are the wrong shade of both pink and blue. (especially if you're doing the transformation versions)

That episode was fucked up in terms of weapon accuracy. I got this Backlace screenshot from there and there are indentations on both sides of the gun where there are none in the other episodes. The trigger guard doesn't curve outwards either like in other refs. I'm guessing different animator.

Vast majority of scenes including transformation and OP/ED show it as having diamonds. Consensus among fan artists on Pixiv is that they're diamonds ala standard form tsuka ito wraps on a katana.

Didn't see your post til now. Yeah, it seems some fo the episodes had ghosted animation compared to the ones that were highly detailed. If you pay attention during the premier and last episodes, and the OP/ED, you'll notice that Backlace and Stripes, as well as Panty and Stocking's outfits, have ridiculously high levels of detail. Backlace's every detail is etched out, from the trigger guard to the hammer and action, and every major visible part of a katana is represented in Stripes' animation, down to the hamon and detail on the tsuba.

This is because animation studios usually make the first and last episodes FIRST during the animation process... all the stuff in between is when they get lazy.

It's mostly so they don't run out of budget and end up not being able to animated the last episodes.. (which just ends up pissing everyone off)

Would it be weird to use lace on the bottom part of Stocking's dress/skirt and use triangles for the cuffs like OP's picture?

Or should I get a wider/bigger lace for the cuffs?

I'm going to sound like such a nitpicky PSG bitch (I'm not a rabid PSG fan though, promise), but I really don't like the costumes that the girls in the OP are wearing...the stocking's dress looks like it is made of broadcloth, and the white bits look so...ugly? The Panty's dress looks awkward as well, no idea why though.

Bitching aside, I LOVE the photo poses they do; that one where they are lying down is amazing, and the Stocking does have a cute face.

Ahhh. I'm probably too picky. I know people who have wigs from cosplay-wigs and I wasn't very impressed with the quality. The wigs tangled very easily and the ends frizzed a lot, even when we spent time combing it out carefully. Maybe it was just those particular wigs?

As for the other one, I think it looks very nice, though I'm a little worried about the blue being too bright as well.
