If you see multiple threads about the same thing, delete one so that it keeps condensed.
Anything Hobbes, MaryHerpes, or too much tripfag circlejerk related stuff that is spamming and looks like it doesn't belong should be deleted, ect.

Basically just keeping an eye on the threads and making sure they aren't off topic or getting off topic with nonsense.

Also, it seems fair that there should be at least one lolita and one cosplayer as a janitor because that way they can check the threads and not delete them based off of not lolita/cosplay related, y'know?

Well I was under the impression that /fa/ doesn't take well to things like Japanese fashion on their board. I dunno, start a mori girl thread there and see what happens.
I thought those were fine since they were Japanese subculture/alternative fashion, which is the same thing lolita is. And since /fa/ doesn't seem to like them, /cgl/ seems like a suitable home.

I am, because I know I can be fair. I don't want to do it just to troll this board, I want it to get better. No more tripfag circlejerks, no more "you lolitas are ageplayers everyone is laffing at u," no more clearly trolling "I don't need a wig, you cosplayers are elitists" threads," and I'll try to cool down the constant drama. I doubt it's possible to get rid of all of that, and they're fun when they bring down an actually bad person, but sometimes it gets ridiculous.

Don't bother with the drama thing. As most people will tell you, the main reason /cgl/ even moves at all is because of drama. I doubt we'd get more than ten threads a day started if we got rid of them altogether. It's just a joke, if you'll remember the /drama/ name during the summer.

I remember when I first came to /cgl/ and it was full of kipi floods. I was amazed at the idea of cosplaying, and didn't know it even existed. I used to collect TONS of cosplay pictures from here and participate in image dumps. My cosplay folders were neat and organized, and I always enjoyed coming to /cgl/. Now I really just don't get the same vibe. In fact, I have more than half of the /cgl/ threads hidden. I want to see people actually help someone that is asking for it. I see that /cgl/ tends to shun away cosplay first timers or people asking where to buy something. I'm also sick of the weaboo threads quite honestly. Its all the same shit and the majority of this board isn't any better.
