There's a rare steeling called an Aireel at the end of one of the first bridge that spawns roughly 50% of the time. you can steal armor from it(chance about 50%) with a defense rating of 20, basically ten levels ahead. Skeletons can't touch whoever wears it. Oh and the skeletons themselves, if you get a good battle chain, drop nice Iron Helms to go with it!

Also, the defenders always cast Dark when critical, watch out! I was level 12 when I got to this part and when I left my party was all level 18+ from getting a huge skel combo.

True story. Mega Man Battle Network 3. The game takes less than a fucking second to save. It's near instant, and my batteries died IN THAT FUCKING INSTANT.
