Good day 1. Panels were a mixed bag. One or two (ok- one) really great one and the others I went to were disorganized to the point of being absurd. Lots of pictures, may throw some here later. There was a way cute Ramona Flowers this morning. Was surprised to see an adult Jimmy Kudo. Less Final Fantasy than ever before so far, which I'm okay with, but the ones here were really impressive. Katanagatari showing in the viewing room was a nice, unexpected bonus. Nothing really exceptional, but it's worth noting that the hotel and DCC staff had been leaps and bounds better than the SLC Sheraton.

Day 2 was awesome, even though the dealers hall was overpriced as fuck and the cosplay contest took FOR FUCKING EVER.

Day 2 was epic indeed! Skipped the big events and just ran to/fro panels all day, and the panels for the most part have been way better than in years previous. The fact that a dance actually happened was just the icing on the tits. There was an amazing Etna cosplayer striking a pose at the dance that will lead to many an impure thought. I might actually not bitch out at the review panel Sunday, which alone shows how much better than last year this has been.

You have to look for good deals. I got an 8" figure and a wall scroll for 35, no tax. But most of everything I saw was way higher than it should've been.
As well, Day 2 was awesome and my only day. I have my tid-bit nit-pickings, but it's much improved and doing well. I avoided all main events except for the dance, as I wasn't willing to wait in line. Wandering amongst the crowds is just as fun anyway.

the bebop cosplays were well done, for the most part.

they were ichidan and they did a full play before closing ceremonies, only complaint is they entirely ruined the whole fucking series.

I want to see more of that dragoon cosplayer he/she was amazing! If anyone has more shots please post?

how did ichidan ruin it? i thought it was done well, i liked how they covered the back story of the series. its not the series fully but was still good.

I was only there for about two minutes or so into the show, which was lame because I was front row and had to super ninja out. But the software that they were supposed to use failed, and poor Orca (the Miku) was so nervous I could see her shaking from my seat. Bless her heart, I wanted to hug her so bad. :C
